ServiceAtWork to the Roadside Rescue
The issue:
As part of a restructure, a multi-national company needed to set up a National call centre. The centre would co-ordinate the dispatch of service vans to stranded customers who were required roadside assistance.
The solution

ServiceAtWork desktop enables the call centre operator to book jobs and to select a potential van based on the stock levels and proximity of the van to the customer.
Once assigned, the Job is immediately "pushed" to the technician's Microsoft Mobile handheld computer. The call centre operator is able to monitor the status of Jobs and re-allocate work if required.
ServiceAtWork Mobile software is used by each Technician to manage the Jobs allocated to him, parts used, technical specifications, look up warehouse stocks and control van inventory.
He completes invoices and payment on site and banks monies on behalf of the company which are reconciled by Head Office the next day.

Heavy Lift - No Stress
The issue:
One of Australia's largest crane and lifting companies was looking to consolidate their whiteboard and spreadsheet booking systems into a single connected system. AssetsAtWork was selected to make light work of heavy lifts.

With nearly 1000 assets scattered across more than 15 depots, the company needed to consolidate the booking and scheduling of equipment and personnel.
AssetsAtWork is used to co-ordinate the allocation of equipment and personnel to jobs. Jobs can be scheduled to internal or sub-contractor resources.
Schedulers can readily see the allocation of equipment across depots on easy to read Gantt charts. The system manages the skills and certificates required for safe operation (and allocation) of resources.
Invoices are created in the AssetsAtWork and transferred to financial system.
